Having music in my blood, as well as teaching, it is only natural to continue a legacy. My own piano lessons started while I was in elementary school studying under Josephine Chance in a prestigious program I had to qualify to enter. This was the start of being trained and adjudicated by the National Guild of Piano Teachers and Music Teachers Association of California which I later joined professionally. I began teaching piano in high school.
My music studies continued at Biola University. I have a Masters of Education in Cross-cultural Teaching from National University. I’ve taught all skill levels of piano, both adults and children. Keeping in touch with former students brings so much joy.

My career has included being an elementary school teacher. My favorite grades to teach are fourth grade and especially kindergarten. My all time favorite part of working in the school setting was partnering as Curriculum Consultant/Liaison for Pacific Symphony Orchestra’s Class Act. This gave me opportunity to have a paid position writing curriculum for PSO and leading musical events. I know those children cherish those lessons and performances, because I still hear about it from them years later.
